How I Work

my approach and work style

My approach is eclectic and intentional. I use Person Centred Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to anchor you in the present, deepen mindfulness, and build awareness of what you're feeling and why. My work is also shaped by psychoanalytic, existentialist, and cognitive behavioural frameworks — always grounded in respect, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and confidentiality.

I'm a trauma-informed practitioner. The safety of the therapeutic space matters deeply to me, and I hold that responsibility seriously.

You, alone, have to do it, but you don’t have to do it alone.

I won't waste your time. I will be honest with you about what I see and what may need attention in order for the change you seek to occur— and I'll work alongside you to get there. Clients often describe me as calm, safe, warm, and direct. I take that as the balance I'm aiming for.
