The spotlight

What does it mean to you when someone says "step into the light, claim your power"?

There is a special poem by Marianne Williamson. It includes the following words:

"your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others around you won’t feel insecure ..."

These wholehearted words are quoted far and wide because they resound with truth and they speak to the part of us all that knows (secretly?) that we are powerful, that we can choose, that we are unlimited.

It's time to step forward … into the light. Enough! hiding back there, making yourself small so you won't upset the world of another person, trying to stay under the radar just to survive.

It’s a slow process, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Lean, be messy, cry, let it out, hurt out loud, express it - whatever it takes, it’s all good.

It's time for some radical change - a revolution and some evolution too.
